<p>you probably need more than a 2100+ on the new sat. Oh yeah, getting more involved in community service and clubs can aslo boost your chances astronomically.</p>
<p>You would probably have trouble getting into a lot of the Ivies because students that get into Ivies almost always have very high grades and test scores, plus they distinguish themselves by being extremely involved and committed to other activities, whether that be sports, research, music, community service, etc.</p>
<p>If you get high test scores and become more involved in ECs that you enjoy, you’ll have a chance at the Ivies, and you’ll be in a good position for other top universities like Northwestern, Michigan, UVA, UNC, WashU, University of Chicago, UC Berkeley, UCLA, etc.</p>
