Decisions are coming in tomorrow and a few days after tomorrow so I am wishing all of you good luck. As much as I’d love to study at the University of Chicago and hang out with you smart people all around the world, I realize that there is a good chance that I would get rejected. However, I still have great options available to me even if I get rejected. So, stay cool and don’t get bummed out in worst case scenario. Good luck.

good luck to you too, jcpc

good luck! like you, I am not so certain of admittance, actually I am quite sure I’ll be receiving a rejection letter, but still I admire all of the applicants on this board and would be honored to attend with any of them in the fall, yes even Brinestorm!
anyway, good luck to us all, uchi is an amazing school and I know everything will work out for the best.
my favorite Buddha quote:
“What we are today comes from our thoughts of yesterday, and our present thoughts build our life of tomorrow: Our life is the creation of our mind.” we don’t need uchi to ensure a future, all we need is ourselves. regardless of whether or not we are admitted, we will achieve great things. A self selecting group like uchi’s applicant pool is sure to do well no matter where they call home for the next four years.

Good luck to all U Chicago CC’ers!!! It’s all out of our hands now. :)

Good Luck~~!!

good luck to everyone! remember, whether everyone gets in or not, we’re all intelligent, wonderful people!

Good luck everyone, but I got Northwestern already :)) so one out of the 2 gems in Chicago is enough for me lol. Good luck!!

Ahhh, lucky you Dog87. I didnt apply to NW but i sort of wish i did =) Anyway, goodluck to everyone! Y’all are going to do great no matter where you go- its not the college so much as what you do there. I dont really expect to get in but, hey, theres always transferring if Chicago is your soulschool =)

i got into northwestern, but i’d rather go to chicago (i think…) so i’m keeping my fingers crossed for a nice fat package tomorrow (and one for everyone else too)

Good luck to everyone. Like the rest of you, I do not think I will get in.

so the letters were definitely sent out thursday or friday? anyone on the east coast know when we should be expecting them?

Good luck to everyone! Don’t think such negative thoughts- I’m sure we’ll all get in! Expect a big package from Chicago tomorrow! :)

yeah good luck everyone, but good luck to me mostly. for as arrogant as i act on these boards, i am nervous as hell.

whoa, finding out tomorrow?! what if I am on the west coast?

RejectedRyan: “yeah good luck everyone, but good luck to me mostly. for as arrogant as i act on these boards, i am nervous as hell.”

Don’t quit on me, honey. We are gay e-partners, remember? Must be true if jnumberscpcnumbers, Master of Bigotry, says so.

Brinestorm-did you get in early?

Brinestorm was in as soon as he was born. Twas fate (and hard work).

All of you must now see whether everything connected for you.

Good luck. Calm the butterflies.

It takes a special kind of person like Brinestorm to ruin a positive thread started by the master of bigotry with his “funny” comments (but if you were a court jester in medieval times, you would be hanged for treason). But anyways, good luck to you to Brinestorm, you need a security boost more than I do. But for real, I wish you best of luck.

Sincerely,
The Master of Bigotry.

damn it, you guys are making me nervous.

oh well, good luck to you guys anyways. I hope to see you guys at the University of Chicago.

“But for real, I wish you best of luck.”

Supposing you didn’t know that I was already accepted early-action, and supposing that you were genuine in your well-wishing, I hereby let out a mighty guffaw in your e-eye.
