Good luck you guys!!!

Hey all. I'm really excited about turning in my app, as I'm sure all of you are. The huge relief, euphoric sensation, and inability to turn back and change some minute wording on an's great! So in two days, our part will be over and I just wanted to say GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE...unless you're from Arizona :)

That's really nice of you, hao! Good luck to you too.

I'm excited...but probably more nervous than anything. Maybe 27% excited, 73% nervous. Actually, 27% excited, 63% nervous, and 10% exhausted. Although exhaustion isn't an emotion...

thanks hao!
and exhaustion is absolutely an emotion.

Well, only if it's mental exhaustion. :p

I think a huge, CC group, interdenominational prayer is in order...

if only that were enough...we'd all be in

Don't get ahead of yourself, hao...we haven't had the prayer YET.

I recently read in an article that Yale EA this year has decided to institute a new EA policy, only instituting 5 percent of the EA applications, to ensure that from now on, only the best of the best apply EA...not those who think will get better chances because they're applying early.

Freakish, that is TERRIFYING.

Where did you read it???

lol...I've been in nonstop nondenominational prayer mode since January. God, Allah, Buddha and other fellow deities should know me quite well by now.

Freakish, that IS scary. It gives me negative vibes. Still, I will optimistically say that it was journalistic exaggeration. I would think they would want those who want to go to Yale the most, not necessarily the best. Still, even if it is true, getting deferred isn't synonymous to a death sentence.

Haha, that's not really nondenominational. It's multidenominational. Or polydenominational. Or something.

It's the "or something" I'm counting on to get me in. :) I can't believe you're still up this late in NY bebere. It's only 10ish over here and I'm practically dead.

I'm still watching SNL on my tivo. :p

sidenote...I just felt really strange calling you bebere. All I can think of is the Spanish verb beber

HAHA. I didn't even think of that. I speak Italian, so it's bere not bebere. You can call me Beth.

I'm Jill. It's almost like half the fun is gone when you can't guess someone's name or gender. I thought for the longest time slipstream99 was a girl...I felt so weird responding to his posts when I realized he was a guy.

Hmm, I can see how that might be a bit awkward.

well, this post now has nothing to do with yale...hmmm...great school...yeah...

i'm just trying to put off finishing the last paragraph of my second essay...ending them is always so scary
