Good Major?

<p>My state university offers a BSE in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in electric power and energy systems. According to the school, the “goal of the electric power and energy systems concentration is to prepare graduates for positions in industries dealing with conventional power generation (fossil fuel and nuclear) and alternative energy systems, including solar, wind and fuel cells.”</p>

<p>I am willing to move anywhere, and am going to try to pick up some internships. Will this degree allow me to get a job when I graduate?</p>

<p>I think you should talk to the school that you are applying to and ask them what they do to help students find jobs right out of college. In addition, ask them what percent of people in your majors find a job quickly.</p>

<p>From what I understand chemical engineering demand is rather high in the Oklahoma area.</p>
