S2s finally died and needs replacing asap!
eBags? REI outlet? 6pm?
Ebags is good.
If you are an REI member, the 20% off any full price item member appreciation sale is ON!
I’ve gotten too many things that actually seemed to be knockoffs through eBay, not backpacks, but cellphones that didn’t work right and clothing that should have fit according to prior experience with the manufacturer/style.
I have bought three TNF through REI. One I am still using, one was used by myself and my daughter, for well over ten years, and one my daughter lent to a friend who didn’t have a backpack.
However, you can’t buy the kind that I like online at REI anymore.
This is my favorite style.

They do have a brown one at the REI outlet.

Got my last The North Face backpack on Craigslist (new) at a substantial discount. Apparently it was a duplicate gift.
I’m not a source for NF backpacks…I personally like Jansport better. My last Jansport…was brand new at Goodwill for $5.
The best source is North Face website www.thenorthface.com I looked all over but nobody has the selection like NF itself.
Backcountry.com has a lot of good gear and I shop there occasionally for backpacking things. However, our town has an excellent locally-owned gear store and we try to patronize them as they provide great service.
I buy local too, but it isn’t always feasible.
I do like the REI has Costco like return policies.
Return it if it wears out or breaks, or if you changed your mind.
