good or bad

so do u think its a good or bad thing to have applied like november decemberish and not have heard anything…i have pretty low stats for Mich…im not sure if its cuz theyre just taking time or what?

Well I have a friend who applied early November with decent stats (32 ACT, 3.6 UM GPA) and he got deferred last week. I applied Late November/early December with a 2230 SAT 34 ACT and a 3.5 and I haven’t heard anything. GPA is much more important than test scores, I’ve heard. But I know Michigan gets a ton of apps, so they are probably just bogged down.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure they’re still trying to get through the late November apps because of the whole affirmative action case that delayed the admissions process. And yeah, GPA’s more important than test scores, it’s more common to see people with not so high test scores and high GPA’s get in than the opposite.
