I am a freshman and I took the PSAT. I got about 205. I did take the diagnostic test at elite, thought, and I scored way higher. (78 in math, 76 in cr and 76 in writing). I heard the elite tests are supposed to be harder?? I took the SAT in 7th and 8th grade so I guess I’ve had prep. Is this score bad?

For a freshman, it’s extremely well. If it’s not the score you are aiming for, keep in mind you have plenty of opportunities to do better. Sometimes diagnostic tests are harder, and sometimes they’re easier. It’s just a matter of preparation.

Are you kidding? That’s a great score for a freshman! Most students report a score increase of 20-40 points per year and your score won’t count until junior year for NMSQ. The scores are different for each state. If you live in Wyoming or West Virginia you’ve already got the score! A list is here :
