Good reads for aerospace engineering?

Do you guys suggest any good reads for aerospace engineering? I found a thread on chemical engineering books, but not for aerospace engineering. I’m currently trying to decide between these two majors, and am hoping that reading some books on each subject may help my decision.

What sort of read are you wondering about? Textbooks? Papers? General science books that appeal to a broad audience as opposed to people with a technical background? You will have to be more specific.

I’m wondering about textbooks that will be used in college, and science books for a broad audience and science books for people with a technical background.

Remember that AE is simply subset of ME with elements of EE and Materials Science.

Well I don’t know about many general audience books other than those about planes or space travel. I can tell you that probably the best fundamental aerodynamics book is “Fundamentals of Aerodynamics” by Anderson.
