good reasons for transferring to adcoms?

<p>I started pondering my approach to my transfer essays and was wondering what are strong reasons to transfer?</p>

<p>Along that line my reason revolves around the fact that I was on a state supported military scholarship that has since gone bankrupt. Is it reasonable to say I am quite happy at my current institution but finances have forced me to explore my options…then elaborate from there as to why xyz school/program seems like a great fit?</p>

<p>It would make sense that most people would transfer b/c they are unhappy to an extent. It has me wondering how a positive essay about my current institution, with financial issues being THE motivating factor, would be viewed by adcoms (my EFC #0000)</p>

<p>I think you have a good reason for leaving, but the burden is on you to justify why a particular school is a good fit academically and personally as well.</p>

<p>In short, I think you have the right idea: talk about why you’re leaving and why the new school fits.</p>
