I’m looking for good Public scholarships (if any) for me, as well as college scholarships for the above scholarships that I fit into and have overlooked (if any). FYI, I have already gotten the WUE for Montana State. I also have about a 3.5 weighted scholarship and two ACT tests, a 4 and a 5. I want to pursue a filmmaking career.</p>

Are you in-state for California? OOS students do not receive financial aid from California public schools.
Did you take AP tests or ACT tests? Is your GPA a 3.5? I don’t understand what a 3.5 weighted scholarship is.</p>

<p>No, I ment I have a weighted GPA of 3.5, so if there are scholarships that I could get with that gpa and my scores, I was wondering what they were and where to find them
And I took both the AP and ACT tests, I got a 4 on US history and a 5 on Calculus BC. I got a 30 for the ACT.

<p>Aunt Bea…OOS residents DO get merit aid at some UCs. We have a friend who got a nice award from Cal, but her stats were far superior to the ones posted by this OP. </p>
<p>California has limits to need based aid…they do not award the differential between in and out of state rates…about $23,000. OOS students can fully expect to pay $23,000 PLUS their EFC. As a minimum.</p>

my 10-12 weighted is 3.586.<br>
What my family pays depends on a few things, but they can probabley cover my rent or board. In montana, that’s all that’s left after the WUE money, but otherwise I may have to take out a student loan.</p>
