Good School for Design Major?

<p>I’m considering the University of Texas at Austin’s Pre-design program.
It seems to be the only college I’ve seen that offers “Design” in general,
(not specifically graphic/advertising/fashion etc.)

<p>I’m pretty sure I can get admitted, I’m top 5%, but does any one know how hard it is to get into the design program, or does any one have any information on the program in general?</p>

<p>Is there anywhere else I can find an affordable Design program?</p>

<p>I recommend Carnegie Mellon’s design program. It is top tier and #1 in some specialties so check it out.</p>

<p>I would second Carnegie Mellon as well, but it’s expensive.</p>
