Good school, okay student?

What kinds of schools can a student like me, in all level ones and ap’s yet all b’s and not so pretty test scores get into? Just wondering what my best shot is. . . i know this is not very specific but basically what are the academically best schools for an okay student?

You are really being very vague, but that list is a place to start…

Thanks, and to be a little less vague say I got a 1700 on my sat (I’ve only taken psats) and a 3.6 gpa, and good ECs but not very diverse

Midwest schools:

University of Iowa
Iowa State University
University of Nebraska
Kansas

If you favor a Liberal Arts type school, Truman State University in MO.

A better question is what can your family afford?

Any tuition, but not to give huge donations or anything

I would look at some SAT optional schools. [SAT/ACT Optional 4-Year Universities | FairTest](ACT/SAT Optional List - Fairtest)

What area do you live in? What is your intended field of major?

i want to go in new england, and the major question is tough… I’m interested in the engineering field, but I have a wide range of interests including mathematics and writing too. Just don’t include any liberal arts colleges :)
