Good School Options for IT in the Northeast?

Hey all - I’m currently a sophomore at UMass Amherst in the Isenberg school but decided I’d like to get into IT for my career (more specifically I’m interested in working as an IT analyst or specialist and eventually a consultant if I’m lucky). Sadly there’s no program for that here, so I’ve been looking into transferring.

My top choice right now is Bentley’s Computer Information Systems program but it’s a bit pricey. So I have been looking into the OIS program at UMass Lowell and the IT program at UMass Boston. My biggest concern with these schools, however, is that they won’t be able to offer the same level of career opportunities as Bentley and may not have the same quality. With that in mind I was thinking I could get my masters at a school like Bentley with the money I save going with a public undergrad option.

Could anybody speak to the quality and variances between the programs at these schools? Also does it make sense to forgo, what may be, the better undergrad school for the sake of getting a masters there later? And finally are there any other schools in the northeast I should look into for their IT-related programs? (I’ve heard good things about BU and Northeastern, but for that price level I like the size and business-dominant focus of Bentley a bit more, however I’m keeping an open mind for arguments)

Thanks in advance for any help!
