Good school vs High marks

I go to a private school, which is “notorious” for giving low marks. However, since it’s in a small city, colleges outside of the state probably don’t recognize it.

My other option is to go to a public school for senior year, which gives much higher marks. My average right now is 89%, and I’m certain it would be around 94% at the public school

Would it be worth it for the higher marks, or is there a chance that colleges would recognize that I dropped out of a harder school?

IMO transfering now is a mistake. At most, the colleges are only going to see one more semester of grades and that’s if you dont apply early decision or early action. Plus, you will need to submit your transcript from your current school so they will see your grades anyway.

Your school will also be sending its profile, along with your grades and transcripts, so colleges will be able to evaluate you based in context.
