Good senior year course load?

So everyone hears about the importance of senior year course load with college admissions and I just wanna see how mine stacks up

AP Bio
Lab switches with Project Adventure(honors gym basically)
AP Music Theory
AP Lit
Syracuse University credit college Spanish
Economics(S1)/Criminal Justice(S2) (required to graduate)
Calculus(non-AP)
Marketing(S1)/Business Law(S2)
Band
Plus self teaching AP Micro/Macro because its not running at my school this year.

Self studying APs won’t matter in admissions- only do it if you want the credit. Your schedule’s fine.

The schedule looks great.

I agree with @Corey – only do the AP if you want the credit AND the colleges your are interested in attending will give you credit. Depending on what colleges you apply to, taking the CLEP may be easier.

I’m the one on the board who probably is the least fanatical about AP tests and I’m in total agreement with the person suggesting you just try to CLEP out of it later. I like a few AP courses, but if you fill your life with them, you lose out on a.“life itself” and b.time for good ECs.

I don’t mean to sound stupid, but I’ve never heard of anyone in my school taking a CLEP exam and didn’t even hear about CLEP before this thread. What’s involved in a CLEP exam?
