Good Target Schools for me?

I’m an international student from India pursuing the IB diploma (3 SLs, 3 HLs), I need some target schools. I’m currently interested in schools like Wellesley, NYU but my GC alloted NYU as a reach for me and recommended others like Syracuse, Boston University Northeastern- while I think these are great schools I think i could do better with my matches. I’m mostly looking at mid sized private universities/ LACs.

My stats are-
SAT- 1530 (Math-790, Writing- 400, Reading- 340)
SAT 2- Math 2- 770 (retaking in october) and chem (to be taken in october)
IB predicted of around a 41/42 on 45, I also took AP microeconomics to see whether i was interested in econ, got a 5
My extracurriculars are moderately strong, they mainly include volunteer work, basketball, theater and a bunch of internships in the media and communications field.

I’m looking to apply in the field of economics/ media and communication. My reaches are Brown, Tufts, Northwestern, USC and UNC- Chapel Hill.
Could I maybe gets some recs for safeties and targets? Thanks :slight_smile:

Your SAT score appears to be from the 2400 scale. If so, none of the universities you listed are within reach.

@bouders : I’m pretty sure the OP divided her EBRW score into its component sections (so 1530/1600).
