Good Textbook for AP Comp Sci AB?

<p>What is a good textbook for AP Computer Science AB?
I am taking intro to programming (equiv. to Comp Sci A) here in CMU over the summer, but I want a more systematic textbook that will walk me through AB.</p>

<p>I also want to learn programming, and I heard a really good one that shows you step by step for noobs (no offence), is the Deitel and Deitel book called Java How to Program, 5th Edition:</p>
