hey everyone, with supplementals is it the case that everyone who applies receives one as “next steps” or do they truly use it as a way to select candidates to move on for department matching and a possible interview
also, does anyone know if referrals are still possible even after having submitted an application for bold? like would a referral still go through in this case? thanks guys!
I submitted a supplemental a couple weeks ago but haven’t heard back. I assume you either get rejected or move on to an interview, but does anyone know about the next steps? Good luck to everyone!

I haven’t, but I’m hoping they’ll do a bunch between now and Christmas! Based on previous years it seems like they also do a lot in January.
Anyone else have competing offers? I have to make a decision for an offer in two weeks, but I still haven’t heard anything from Google.
@siufan12 Yes, they are! Just let the recruiter that reached out to you about the supplemental forms know about it. It’ll internally show in their system when they look at your application.
Yeeeeah @TripleDentGum I have a competing offer as well. I really wish I at least had an interview w Google lined up at this point.
I don’t have any official offers yet but have begun interviewing for other organizations. I would say if you have an offer for a company you really love, take it. If it’s one you’re not too excited about, maybe wait and see what happens with Google. I’m sure everyone on here would make an amazing Google intern but the truth is that it is the most competitive internship program in the U.S. I definitely won’t hesitate to take another offer if it comes my way. It would suck to take another one and then later get an interview offer from Google though haha
Got an interview offer today! I’m unsure how much I can share but the role is for in Ann Arbor, Michigan or Boulder, Colorado.

@TripleDentGum I had a competing offer at Yelp and I went ahead and accepted it because the contract said that I can back out at will. I am still going through the process at other companies and waiting for Google as well but already having an option for the summer is helping me stay sane lol

Hey everyone. Weird Q here… I tried looking up my recruiter on Linkedin and FB after getting my supplemental, and her profiles look very… fake. Anyone else? LOL i’m a bit suspicious now and worried.
