Also, in response to confirmation emails, they don’t really send them out. Likewise, previous years threads have indicated that interviews have been discontinued in the past several years.

Wow I didn’t realize they stopped interviews! Kinda interesting though. From previous threads I guess if you got an interview it means you’ll probably get in, but if you didn’t it means you’ll probably be denied. Without the interviews this year we won’t know ahead of time if there’s a possibility. Just have to wait and see!
Also learned that people with a lot of experience in CS were more likely to be denied. Looking at previous threads I see that people who don’t have much CS experience got accepted, especially if they are URMs.
Although I have some CS experience (I took 2 years of IB CS and I have created a Java project) I’m sure it’s not a lot, so maybe I won’t be denied? Then again my grades suck so I probably will.

@UyenNg I don’t believe it’s possible to check your status after the deadline. Every time I go online to the website it says that applications are closed.
@prospie2023 I’ve been looking online and it seems that no one has heard back so far. In previous years people would hear back in April if they’re offered an interview. But this year I believe there aren’t any interviews. I don’t think anyone’s going to hear back until May.
I submitted mine a week early and got not confirmation email so I guess we dont need to worry here lol

On the CSSI website they also indicated that they would let us know which campus we were being considered for but so far I can’t seem to find that information anywhere. Does anyone know how to check this?

How do we check that our application was submitted? I forget if there was a portal?
