Google ends essay-writing ads

<p>Google will stop showing ads for sites that sell essay-writing services, as well as pre-written papers, theses and dissertations. With this ban, essay websites join other sites on a blacklist of “unacceptable content” service providers. The move is applauded by universities struggling to cope with the problem of students dishonestly submitting material copied from the internet. </p>

<p>When the essay-writing company submits the essay to the student, why not have the company simultaneously submit a copy of the essay to popular anti-plagiarism checks?</p>
