At a speech in San Francisco on Wednesday, Google (GOOG Quote - Cramer on GOOG - Stock Picks) CEO Eric Schmidt proposed a new energy plan for the U.S. that the company claims could reduce fossil fuel-based energy generation by 88 percent.

<p>While the politicians speculate here and there, it looks like Google has an actual plan to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels. It would be nice if Google could buy the U.S. Government and take it over.</p>
