I am a Republican (so obviously I’m not a big Al Gore fan), but I think picking apart someone’s private life for political gain is not the way to go. The article reminds me a lot of the Bush National Guard “scandal” and John Kerry swiftboat “scandal” that really turned out to be nothing. I think we would be better served debating the merits of Al Gore’s ideas rather than criticizing him for owning big houses.

Sure, Al Gore is not a good person, but that doesn’t mean what he has to say is automatically wrong. This new “scandal” is just a distraction from the inconvenient truths.

Oh this wouldn’t be the same Big Tobacco farmer Al Gore would it?

Do you people ever stop and think why the United States is the only country in the developed world that still seriously debates the merits if industrialization affects the world at all or evolution? I do and I can never understand why.

Look around, use your eyes. If you still believe things are just “peachy”, good for you.

It’s your world, you have to live in it long after I’m gone. If you like the way things are going… do nothing, if not, change things. Either way you’ll get what you deserve. Al Gore or not.

thats great because i inconveniently didn’t see the movie.

Whoever said the message was flawed if the messenger was?

I remember an article a couple years ago on drudge that talked a/b how much fuel Gore consumed in his jet plane to spread the message of conserving energy! That doesn’t mean it isn’t real and that doesn’t mean the whole message is wrong.

I mean, look at Dubya. He may be a piece of crap, but that doesn’t mean his message a/b weapons of mass destruction is wrong…wait…n/m.

Gotta love beating a dead horse.

yup…
