Hey CC I studied a lot and on my last sat the one before the june one i got a 2020 with a 760 math and 610 critical reading and 650 writing (10 essay). I was wondering since I’m taking the sat in october what would be the best way to improve critical reading and writing. I am mainly looking for book suggestions. Also I finished all the tests in the blue book but since a decent bit of time passed will buying another and using it be accurate for gauging my progress or not at all since I’ve seen it all before. Is their any way to get more tests i heard the sat online course has more tests is that true? Sorry for this mesh of many questions any advice is greatly appreciated

Bump can someone please give me some advice/ answer my questions

First for critical reading
-if you get questions mostly wrong from sentence completion study: Direct Hits, Word Smart, Barrons Hot Words
-If you’re weak with passages, just solve a lot of questions from the real test. Online course helps (it has 10 practice tests i think). Make sure you go over questions you got wrong and study WHY the answer is right

Writing
-before you solve more questions review the grammar that comes out frequently on the wrinting mc section: pronoun agreement, dangling modifiers, prepositional phrases, verb tense…etc. Once you know this, writing section will be a piece of cake. Collegeboard always gives out same types of questions over and over so look for patterns.
-Solve more practice tests.

Writing is much easier to improve. Since you have a decent essay score, you won’t have a problem increasing the score up to a 800.

Best of luck!

i would look at grubers for vocab

I guess getting a 2020 means you don’t need glasses or contacts.
