Got a 5 on AP Eng Lang, Predictions for Lit?

Last year, I got a 5 on the AP English Language exam. I’m in AP English Literature this year. It is a pretty difficult class as we are tested on our books before we discuss them in class, among other things. I’m still managing to hold an A though. Anyway, I’d like to know how I might fare on the AP Lit test in 2011. I’ve heard Cliffnotes is good prep, what about PR or 5 Steps or Barrons?

I took both the same year (no class at my school) with minimal prep…minimal to the point where I wasn’t really aware of the difference between the two. I remember thinking Lit was harder, but I got 5s on both. A lot of people I knew did both and got the same score on both.

I took Lang one year and Lit the next. If you got a 5 on Lang, you have the writing skills necessary for a good Lit score. If you can handle the books and the type of essays for Lit, then you really shouldn’t have a problem. The class itself, provided you’re reading the correct kinds of books and writing a significant number of essays, should be enough prep.

I did not buy any prep books for either of these exams.
