Hey guys,

does it matter if i get a B in my local community college EMT-B class, but i pass the national registry test?
I know we have to send whatever grades we have to med school including the EMT transcript from community college. will that look really bad?

the EMT class in my community college is really hard though, but it prepares us well for the National Registry.

what do u guys think?

thanks

No, the B will not look bad. Honestly, I don’t know what AMCAS will do with the grade; but if they have any understanding of how the field portion of EMS works, then they will understand that a B is fine. The classroom serves to provide you with fundamentals, but nobody becomes very proficient until they get into the field. Good luck, its a fun job.

A B’s not something to worry about.

really? cuz i think ppl normally think EMT is a really easy class and i took it in a COMMUNITY COLLEGE ONLINE CLASS, in which we basically just read and study by ourselves and take the quizzez online and go to community college once a week to do the skills and take the tests.

i feel like ppl usually just think community college is really easy. i think the B looks really stupid if AMCAS don’t even think about how my class was structured and how difficult that was. In fact, no one in my class got an A, even those who are from top colleges…

:(
