<p>Well…i really scored quite low… nvm…
nd jus read many old threads nd got really frightened nd worried…
some of the cc’ers consider sat subject tests really important nd a relatively low score would kill ur app.
And jus read another thread posted on another forum…it said that a decent score matters much more than which subject u take.
So i jus suggest that if someone jus took latin nd hebrew nd jus scored for low 600+,
nd comparing wiv a student who’s got physics and mathe2 both at 780…
which would be more competitive and more evaluated?
also got very confused…cuz saw many many ccers hit 750+ at Physics/mathe2/chemistry or so…perhaps the sat subject scores really matter a lot :-(</p>
<p>How much subject tests matter depends on the school. I would say the 780 physics/math II is more competitive than the latin/hebrew ~600 if all other factors are the same. I wouldn’t say SAT IIs are nearly as important as the SAT I though.</p>
<p>I would suggest applying to schools that allow score choice and don’t require subject tests if you’re really worried about them.</p>
