Got a F Second Semester Senior Year of High School

So, I just graduated from my high school. All my grades were fine before I left. C range and above. My senior year was very rough for me, had a lot of family problems. And so on. But after 2 to 3 weeks I log back on to my high school website see if my grades were all the same. And of course one class wasn’t. I had gotten a F in physiology! The class wasn’t even hard. I had a C. But I guess if you have 11 or more unexcused absences, you receive an automatic F! I’m so scared right now. First semesters of taking the course I had an A+! I’m so mad at the teacher, and myself. Will this one F on my trancript affect my chance of going to university’s. I’m not even sure if I can retake physiology…

You should contact the university ASAP and inquire. They could rescind your admission, but that depends on the university and whether this was an elective or a required course for admission. They will not make a final decision until reviewing your transcript – perhaps you could ask for an expedited review so that you can plan to go elsewhere if they rescind your admission.

Rule of thumb is no D’s or F’s Senior year. As stated in the above post and find out your options. Make sure you have documentation citing the reasons for your absences.
