hey everyone,
im an international from India and im going to apply to Rutgers. I wanted to know if international students have to show cash worth all of the four years of fees to get admission. NY has such a law. i wanted to know if theres such a thing in NJ.

Thanks.

u know id really like some help here…

They might help you out more on the international threads. Sorry I can’t help, no idea about international and admission.

If you’re talking about an ISFS, it’s a federal, not state, law. Every international student must complete the form so that universities can complete documentation in support of an F-1 visa. Unless you can demonstrate that you have the financial means, personal and scholarship, the US government will not issue a student visa.

So, you don’t have to certify that you have the finances in order to apply, but you won’t be admitted, either to the school or the US, unless you do.

i dont really know whts an ISFS…could u explain a bit???

Should be self-explanatory. Every school in the US requires completion of some version of this form.
