Got Accepted: No Idea What to Do Next

Well i finally got accepted to NYU from the waiting list back around May 15. I got really excited and waited for all the paperwork to come. I registered and sent my deposit in. The school sent me an email on housing and i think i got most of it covered.

The thing is with orientation. i havent yet gotten any letter about orientation and i dont know what to do next about that. the other thing is i havent registered for classes yet so i’m confused with that too.

i m in the pre med track and any help will be nice
thanks

Here’s the Transfer Orientation website:

You should call NYU as it’s almost a month since you sent the deposit.

i m a freshmen not a transfer
they contacted me this afternoon about housing reservations but still no mention about the orientations
i’m thinking of just signing up for an orientation, though i was thinking i need their notification before i do anything

just register…no point in waiting for notification from NYU.

pre-med track requires you to still declare a major. Nowadays a lot of people are majoring in a non-science major and still taking the MCATs for med school. a friend of mine ended up as a economics major, took the pre-med requirement courses, did exceptional on his MCATs and now attends NYU med school.

Its fine if you did not register or anything yet. If you are really anxious, give NYU a call (if you are in the states, go visit) and ask what you gotta do

Sorry, I wasn’t reading very carefully. Go to the link that plasma provided and try to register for orientation. You do not register for classes until the third day of orientation.
If the system doesn’t let you register for orientation, definitely call NYU.

During orientation it looks like there will be a group advising session and two individual advising sessions before registering for classes.
