Got accepted to all of the UC's, but may get rescinded from all of them...=/

In Fall 2007 I received a “D” in:
MUS 117 C American Popular Music
at Cypress College.

In Fall 2008 I retook the class and received an “A” in:
MUS 117 C American Popular Music
at Cypress college.

My unofficial transcripts shows a letter “E” next to the course where I received a “D” and was no longer calculated into my GPA. My counselor said that it was erased and that universities will not look at it when calculating my GPA. When I entered my grades on the UC application, I thought that the letter “E” meant that the course was erased. Therefore, I did not report it. I recently found out that the letter “E” indicates exclusion of the course from unit and grade point totals and is only shown next to a course that has been repeated.

When I filled out my UC application, I did not know that the letter “E” or “repeated courses” on my unofficial transcripts was considered as “academic renewal” and that we were to report all of the courses taken, including academic renewal. As a result, I did not report the “D” and just reported the “A” on my UC application.

I do know that if your transcripts do not match your UC application, your admittance may get rescinded.

How will this hurt me?

Will I be able to fix this?

What should I do?

Call admissions for each university and tell them.

call and report

So far, i’ve called ucla, uci, ucb, and ucsd. uci and ucb say that i shouldn’t worry about it. but ucla and ucsd say that they take this seriously and i may be rescinded… =/
