Got an 1850 on a blind SAT with no prep. How much can I improve?

So I got the results in from my March SAT. I got an 1850. I can’t say I’m massively thrilled with my scores. I want to study and take it again. Is it possible to get the score up to a 2150+ after a couple of months?
Here is my score breakdown:
Critical Reading 680 93%
Math 590 73%
Writing 580 78%
Multiple Choice 59 (score range: 20-80)

Essay 8 (score range: 2-12)

I don’t know why I did so poorly on the math part of the exam, math tends to be one of my greatest subjects. I did acceptably on Critical Reading but far below what I want everywhere else.

Absolutely. I went from around where you are now (1870) to a superscore of 2320. It’s absolutely possible. Just practice, practice, practice. Know the techniques, tips, and tricks and you can totally beat the SAT at its own game. Good luck!

I took it in January also with no prep and got an 1890 (640M/660W/590CR). I did a couple practice tests and took the March test and got a 2060 (780M/720W/560CR). Practice definitely helps and if I did more prep before the March test, especially in CR, I’m sure I could’ve gotten higher.

So yes, you’re definitely capable of raising your score to 2150 and higher if you put in the effort! Go through the Blue Book and maybe grab a couple other prep books to study approach methods.

There’s no telling till you do it You can even go down. There is a scale that tells you the range that someone who gets your score likely gets when retaking it and it goes both ways. It also does not just include those who took it blind with no prep, so hard to say.
