–So, this is my first semester in the college, and as requirement of UC, you need to take one general education class. I took International Relations, and i thought i would be good at it since i read so many historical and political things on wikipedia. But the fact is that, not, it is not for me.
—In short. I’m probably gonna fail this class.
—But i don’t really want to retake this class since i’m a computer science major and really want to get rid of those human/history/literature kinda things…and a friend of mine told me about this academic renewal thing. My question is if I submit a Petition for Academic Renewal for my failed class, and got approved, does that mean I don’t need to retake that class and my grade of that class won’t be counted in my GPA when i transfer?
----If yes. When should I submit one? Is there any other things i should pay attention to?
