Okay, so I applied super duper late to California Lutheran University my third choice and I couldn’t afford to send in another sat score and to my surprise I got a package in the mail saying that I was accepted! I was stoked ! I thought they would rescind my app for not sending in sat scores plus I got a $5K scholarship! Is this a mistake?
Any chance your school sent it with your transcript? The web site says they look at scores. http://www.callutheran.edu/admission/undergraduate/apply/requirements.php can you afford that school?
It’s probably not a mistake. They may not have required an SAT or they’re test optional. Congrats on getting in.
@Didactic Cal Lutheran is not test optional. That’s why I asked my question.
Maybe your school sent it like the poster above said? ^ I guess call and make sure idk lol
It’s on the Common App (not official scores)
My apologies, Erin’s Dad. We posted at the same time so I didn’t see it. Some schools don’t accept SAT scores if they’re not official but maybe in this case, they were accepted through Common App or transcript.
No my school doesn’t put the sat scores on the transcript.
I had a similar experience with Emory. I didn’t send in any scores but they accepted me! I don’t think it’s a mistake. I doubt they’d screw up hard enough to not only accept you but then offer you a scholarship. Take the acceptance and don’t remind them about it.
