Got into college...now can I fail my classes?

I applied ED to WUSTL and got in. However, my grades in English and Physics dropped to a B. Will WUSTL rescind their offer if I get two B’s? Just to be safe, what about 3 B’s?
Thanks guys

Also, I realize getting a B is far from failing a class. It was just a title.

bump 10char

Two or three B’s are generally fine. Just avoid getting a C or lower

i think at the minimum is 3 Bs

CONGRATZ btw

Keep your GPA as high as possible. It’s unlikely that they will rescind, but do not let every academic class drop to a B.

I’m with glassesarechic. I think you should try to keep your GPA as high as possible. 3 B’s should be fine, but if colleges see that all your former A’s are now B’s, then they might…take action.

The better question is why even risk it? You’ve worked so hard for this many years, do you really want to chance wasting all your hard work by slacking off now?

haha well…I tried really hard all year and couldn’t get my B in physics up to an A. It’s such a hard class…And I did really bad on this one english test and my 94% went dowwwwwnn. It’s not that I’m not trying or that I’m giving up. Of course I’m going to try and get all A’s. I’m just wondering what happens if I don’t succeed. (We have our midterms this week)

As long as you keep trying, you should be alright :)

Just saw this on here in the Yale forum and thought I would pass it along (it was for Yale, but I’m sure the concept is similar)…

…so while a couple Bs are okay (and I’m sure you’re fine  ), it doesn’t take a C to get rescinded… Good job on WUSTL!
