got off the phone with UCSD

<- 7414. oh well.

<- 7400 out of 7483. UCLA for me =)

I was wondering, if I did eaop in 7-8 grade, does it count toward points?

Middle school activities probably don’t generate any points, but you could mention in as essay how your EAOP experience in ms helped you in hs,if it did.

in the com review posted in here, some site says that three years of eaop get 150pts.

What are “commercial and school test preparation courses”? You get 300 points for those types of things…

Maybe taking a test prep course for SATs / other. It would probably show initiative and **** like that. Showing you cared. Something.

Oh…something like Kaplan or Princeton review? Those classes that are like $700-$800.

Or you you could take classes that your school offered. Ours did, and we didn’t have any real AP classes, so i’m willing to bet that just about any school offers such classes.

myname1sjude:

my mom’s friend’s son got into berkeley but got rejected by ucla and ucsd. got into slo, uci, ucsb, and ucd, along with berkeley. dont know his major or stats though.

is there another website to calculate the points?

http://henry.sandi.net/college/appl...ion_scoring.htm</a> <– it says “page removed”

thanks

yeah i wanted to know that too.

iono but the page has been down for a while?

Does anyone need the rubric? I saved it in a word doc. I can send it to you via emial or PM (the format might be a little weird though).

Can I get it?

Syneria, PM me your email address and I’ll send it to your via email. PM messes up the format.

Wow. Enlightening piece of document. Would anyone know the numbers for the different campuses? Particularly Berkeley?

ucb and ucla do not use any type of rubric…its all subjective…

only ucsd uses this. use this w/ discretion. berk and la have no cutoff they are subjective

good luck!
