I think MacCain should choose this guy. He is the face of the future GOP. If he is not chosen, he should be given an opportunity to talk during the convention.

I don’t agree with his social views, but I agree with most of his economic views.

One year of big league experience (governor, Senator, etc.) is not anywhere near enough to consider someone for the Vice Presidency. Jindal should knuckle down, do a good job in in first major office, gain some experience, and think about moving up when he’s more qualified.

I agree with Post #2. Let’s see some creative thinking and agressive action in Louisiana’s government operations before we promote Governor Jindal. At present, he simply just a parrot for some conservative points of view. Look for the Republicans to exploit his ethnic background.

I also think he should do something in LA first, and get more experience. I listened to him talk today on C-span, and I have to say he is very impressive.

I’m hoping for Kay Bailey Hutchinson. With McCain’s age, that way I would have a pretty good chance of voting for the first female president after all.

I don’t know her politics, but the Republicans could do some serious, serious damage putting a semi-centrist woman on the ticket with McCain and give all the Clitnon supporters a place to go.

I just checked out his wiki page. Graduated from Brown at 20, Oxford at 22 thanks to a Rhodes scholarship, appointed president of University of Louisiana system at 28, part of Bush administration at 30, US house of reps at 33, Governor of Louisiana at 36. Jesus.

I agree however. It’d be a bit hypocritical to rail against Obama for lack of experience then let this guy slide.
