<p>Let the games begin in Albany…hopefully they won’t be wrangling this out til August again and, for the sake of our students, let’s hope someone there can see beyond the next election and will actually listen to SUNY students and parents!</p>

<p>Thanks for posting this. It’s early going no doubt and the process will evolve, or crumble, as time passes. Unfortunately for many of us Albany watchers, these items are put off till the last minute and decided in the middle of the night.</p>

<p>Any word from Chancellor Zimpher? I haven’t heard much from her since the last crushing defeat.</p>

<p>I know she’s been on a tour through the state, last think I heard re the SUNY response to budget woes is that the new plan is to have the campuses compete for aid :eek:</p>

<p>This is *so *frustrating. I don’t understand why SUNY prices are so much lower than other publics- there’s so much potential here! Geneseo’s budget cuts in particular were outrageous.</p>
