When they calculate GPA do they add courses that are not transferable such as the lower english and math courses?

When i sent in my app i did not have any extra-cirricular activities written down. how bad does that affect my chances? BTW…I am assuming extra-cirricular means that it must be school related.

No not necessarily, they want to see where you interests lie and your ability to be dedicated to something, be it church related, sports, community service, business internship, etc. It also depends on the school, but I would send an amendment to the admissions counselor, asap.

its because i had all kinds of work experience, and extra-cirricular i thought was school related i thought it would make sense that i was working in the professional world and didn’t have time to write any extra cirricular stuff.

This has nothing to do with your post, but the word is extra-curricular or extracurricular as some prefer. Kill the i between the c and r and replace it with a u. That’s all, good luck with your transfer application.

Ultimately if you missed the department deadline for your portfolio and did not detail your EC involvement then you probably will not be accepted.

Your best bet would be to call the school and be as sincere as possible.

ECs are any activities participated in outside of going to school…school clubs, local organizations, sports (club/rec/whatever), national competitions, summer camps, work experiences, ect are all examples of EC…if it wasnt done for a grade in school, the activity is most likely an EC
