GPA and med school

Im sure other ppl have asked this same question

but
is it true that it’s better to go to a less competitive school in order to get a high GPA if you are planning to go to med school?

I would love to go to Pomona but I’m scared that my GPA will be so low that I wont even have a chance to go to med school.

im wondering the same thing. im the class of 2010 at davis and planning to major in biochem. is it better to major in something easy and get high gpa or will it be better to major in something science like my current major to learn the basics. hoping to become a farmacist

There are no absolute answers. A 4.0 at Davis is better than a 3.4 at Harvard. A 3.8 at Davis is probably not better than a 3.7 at Harvard.
