I am a rising senior and am looking foward to applying to stern. However, i do not know if i should apply ed or regular decision. I believe the deciding factor for me will be the system that stern uses to calculate applicants GPA. So does stern use the 4 point system where 4=A 3=B and B+ round down to a B and A- rounds up to an A.(like where plus and minuses do not matter. Or do they use the 4 pt system where a 4=A 3.67=A- 3.33=B+ etc etc(where plus and minuses do matter).

THANK YOU AND PLZZZZ ANSWER BECAUSE THIS IS CRUCUAL IN MY DECISION TO APPLY EARLY DECISION OR REGULAR DECISION.

i’m pretty sure that plusses and minuses matter. i know that the overall NYU system is 4=A, 3.7=A- and 3.3=B+ .etc i also think that they care only about the core classes, so make sure to include only those in your calculation.

wait what?? arent the pluses and minuses only counted in college? my teachers dont use plus/minus for some classes so it wouldnt make sense…

idk which one it is cause i always thought plus and minuses matter but i just visited Emory and Georgia tech and both colleges did not use pluses or minuses at all for calculating applicants gpa.

anyone know completely for sure what system is used
