gpa conversion from 100 point scale?

My gpa is 97/100. I've had only As (93-100%) throughout high school. So will colleges see this as a 4.0 or a 3.88?

Most schools recalculate your GPA based on whatever system they use to make it an equal playing field because some schools give -'s and +'s which can lower or raise the GPA while others just use solid letter grades. Don't worry.

Likely, a 4.0. But what's more important is your rank.

I'm 6/300. I think #1 is at 98.5/100.

To convert to a 4.0 scale GPA convert your grades one course at a time ... if you have As in all your classes then you would have a 4.0. This assumes your school does not give pluses or minuses ... or give additional wieghting for honors or AP classes ... if they do it gets more complicated ... however the bottom line still holds; convert a course at a time and then figure your GPA; do not convert your overall average.
