UCB graduate school requires a gpa of 3.0. Do community college gpa count for transferred students? Or do they just consider the UCB gpa?

Does a C- for Stat 134 (a very hard course) hurt graduate school application for a non-statistics major.)

They use your cumulative gpa for all grad/professional schools, so yes community college classes are counted.
A C- will not discount you from getting in anywhere, but it’s obviously worse than having an A.

Depends where or what program you’re applying to.
If you’re applying for a graduate school in a statistics major, then yes, the C- in 134 will hurt.
But if it’s something outside of statistics, then it doesn’t really matter.

And to answer your first question, community college GPA do indeed count.
