I was recently approved for a retroactive withdrawal from all courses completed during the spring of 2014. This brought my GPA from a 2.9 to a 3.4ish. It also will not affect my UC or major preparation requirements. I will also still meet the 60-unit credit requirement. Yes, I think it would. Any new pertinent information regarding grades that would alter info already submitted when you applied (i.e. spring 2014 GPA) would fit that category. Good luck!

I had a medical issue that really impacted my grades during the semester. I was approved on the basis that the illness negatively affected my grades and I wasn’t in a position to withdraw at the time. They determined that given my overall record, it wasn’t representative of my potential.
Contact the student affairs or academic affairs department for the particular process at your school.
