<p>First, the reason for my post: I am worried about how much my GPA will pull me down vs. how much everything else will help. I’m an Asian American male high school student; I go to a large high school in the Midwest and am interested in going into Pre-med or Biotechnology for my major. </p>
<p>Colleges: Princeton University, Cornell University, Northwestern University, NEOUCOM and Ohio State University. Dont have to chance me on all, please do what you can.</p>
<p>Academic Stats:
3.63 UW GPA, 3.81 W GPA (odd weighting system, I DID take a lot of AP/Hon.; below)
Note: Grades solid 9th and 10th grade. 11th grade: slipped up and got a C+ in one class. Mostly Bs junior year.</p>
<p>Classes: Took most of the AP’s available and all honors.
Honors Math, English, History every year. AP Chem, AP Bio, AP Calc, AP Euro, and AP Language with B’s or higher in all. </p>

Doctor Reference Survey
o With a doctor, created and surveyed hundreds of doctors to improve medical education in the U.S.
Doctor Database
o With same doctor, created a telephone database of specialists in the U.S. for doctors overseas (if they needed a professional opinion and didnt hv. one locally).</p>
<p>International Aid (have video, pics of all this for colleges):
Raised money locally to purchase 200 umbrellas for a rural village overseas (umbrellas protect them in the heat and rain).
Old Clothes: I collect and package old clothing from our community and mail it overseas every month. Convinced UPS to ship it for free.
Working with P&G to distribute water purifying tablets in rural areas overseas to promote clean water for everyone</p>
<p>Business/Information Technology (remember, Im still going to pre-med):
Own my own business
o Online Website Design for local companies
o Hit it Big Time: done work for 5/3 Bank, P&G, GE, etc. (many fortune 500 companies)
o Have a website, employees, etc.

<p>So. That last paragraph about my business, although one paragraph, is where Ive spent a lot of effort in high school.
Two Main things:
Given that stuff, will my GPA still stop me from gaining admission?
And two, will my Business and Information Tech. stuff be detrimental considering Im going to be a pre-med?</p>
