GPA vs SAT/ACT?

<p>so my gpa is 3.5…
my SAT scores are 2000…</p>

<p>i go to a private school and its pretty hard in comparison to the public schools around. A 4.0 at the nearby public school is equivalent to a 3.0 here. (in terms of work)</p>

<p>So my guess is, to go around the grade curve, princeton will look at my SAT score and my gpa together, and get some knowledge on how hard my school is, right?</p>

<p>I think your GPA and SAT complement each other. I would imagine someone who gets A’s and B’s at a difficult school to get around a 2000. Maybe your SAT is slightly higher than what one would expect from your GPA, but not that much. A 2000 is definitely not high enough for Princeton anyway.</p>
