Hey guys, my school has a system that for some regular level courses (band, etc) in which you are allowed to use a GPA waiver to prevent the GPA from not be actually calculated on your high school transcript, in order to prevent a weighted GPA above a 4.0 from lowering. However, do colleges diregard the GPA waiver and just calculate the unweighted grade point average as if every class counted?

(I noticed that if I had not waived any classes my unweighted would be like a 3.77 instead of a 3.7)
