I have a really low GPA, but it has been on an upward trend. How important is it/how does it factor in in the decision process? I applied to schools like VT, UVA, UMD, etc.

GPA UW: 3.56
GPA W: 3.93

Freshmen year: 3.757
Sophomore year: 3.900
Junior year: 4.171
Senior year 1st semester: 4.45

  1. A 3.56 UW GPA is not “really low”
  2. A positive upward trend is always helpful.
