gpa

my gpa is about a 4.156 right now. i’ve taken 32 courses and im only a junior. as of right now, i’m third in my class. was it wrong of me to have taken so many classes? if i didn’t take the excess classes and took the normal 21 by junior year, i’d have a 4.81 and overtake #1 by .3 points. or will it look okay because i’ve taken so many courses that it has shown balance, time, dedication, while still maintaining good grades (its just that the excess classes are like band and chorus and stuff, level 1 classes that are only scaled on a 4.0 scale.)

Personally, I’d say that more classes shows more dedication. My opinion, however, does not matter in the least.

I sure hope that it is the case, I’m in the same situation… well pretty close.

Sorry, that was kinda a pointless post, I didn’t really ever answer anything.

It’s annoying me because I could have a ridiculous GPA if I wasn’t so committed to all these classes that teachers depend on me for. Like, I lead these classes, but they only count as level 1, but I’ve been in them for 4 years. Don’t get me wrong, I still do a lot of extra currics, but I’m just worried that a .7 (It sounds so drastic) differential points will look horrible on my app

bumppp… other comments?

I think I kinda see where you’re trying to go with this, but not very. What’s done is done. Forget about it because thinking of it will not make a single difference in your life. Being third in your class is not bad, even though your number one probably has a GPA of 4.51. which is a tremendous difference. Anyway, colleges will care that you have strived to challenge yourself with a boatload of courses.
