<p>NOt sure about the plus loan, but DD has Stafford grad loans which seem to fund and be deposited to her account the first day of class each term- these are ‘direct loans’</p>
<p>The grad PLUS process isn’t really any longer than any other loan process. However, different schools have different processing times. Where I work, all loans are Direct Loans, so they are pretty quick. If your school is not a DL school, ask them about preferred lenders (these loans may process more quickly than others). Once you have the loan request in & it gets processed, you’ll have to wait for the loan to post & then wait for the next day the student accounts receivable office processes refund checks.</p>
