Grad school admissions after repeating a course

Hi,

My under graduate GPA is 3.6 (this is a 3 year degree) and masters GPA is 3.4 (2 year) but I have repeated a subject at masters level (I got a D+, according university policy retake was not necessary as my GPA was enough to graduate but I repeated it to increase my GPA further). And my D+ is on my transcript along with the A which I got after repeating. Will this badly affect when applying to a US grad school? (I need both BSc and Ms when applying as my BSc is a 3 year degree)

I have published 4 research papers during Ms and in between Ms and Bsc. I have also won a national level award for a R&D project which I have done. Can these achievements plus a good score in GRE absorb the impact caused by that repeated subject?

Regards
